Ladies and gentlemen!

It’s a sunny Thursday morning with temperature expected to rise as high as 40 to 45 degrees centigrade. Truly, even the weather is one with us.

Bakery Fair is rising, shining, brighter and hotter than ever as we all gather to celebrate the largest assembly of local and foreign counterparts of the Filipino Chinese Bakery Association.

Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat. To our esteemed foreign guests! Mabuhay! Welcome to the Philippines! Welcome to our 14th Bakery Fair 2025!

This event is not just a celebration of bread, cakes, and pastries; it is a testament to our unwavering faith and unity to remain steadfast in our mission and commitment to empower and uplift the entire baking industry and contribute to the nation’s growth.

This biennial event is more than just a trade show—it is a movement to elevate the standards, quality, and aspirations of the Philippine bakery industry.

We have curated an exciting lineup of activities to inspire and engage attendees. From thrilling competitions like the “Flour Masters: Bread Baking Competition” and the “Cake Illusion: Hyper-Realistic Cake Art Competition” to live demonstrations by world-class chefs, there is something for everyone.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the “Grand Regal Tiers Wedding Cake Display Competition,” where participants will compete for a grand prize of PHP 150,000. We are also proud to offer international training opportunities and trips to elite baking institutes for our competition winners, furthering our goal of raising global standards for Philippine baking.

As your president, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our bakery members, allied members, and exhibitors for coming together as one.

To my supportive and understanding wife, thank you for your incredible patience and unwavering understanding. I want you to know that after the Bakery Fair, I will make it a priority to come home earlier so we can spend more time together.

To my siblings and parents, who have been with me since day one, I am deeply thankful for your constant presence in my life. Your support has been a source of strength for me, allowing me to face all the challenges that have come my way. Knowing that I have such a caring family behind me gives me the courage to pursue my dreams and overcome any obstacles.

It was big shoes to fill, with my father as a former President of FCBAI as well as my brother in 2017, and you were my inspiration. I cannot go wrong.
